Congress releases list of 4 candidates, fields Amrinder Singh Warring from Ludhiana

Congress Candidate List 2024: The Congress party on Monday released a list of four more candidates from Punjab for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. It has fielded the state chief, Amrinder Singh Brar (Raja Warring) from the Ludhiana Lok Sabha seat.

Warring will take on sitting MP Ravneet Singh Bittu in Ludhiana. Bittu, who won the seat in 2019, left Congress and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. Aam Aadmi Party’s Ashok Parashar Pappi and Shiromani Akali Dal’s (SAD) Ranjit Singh Dhillon are other candidates in the fray.

Congress leader Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has been fielded from Gurdaspur.

All 13 seats of Punjab will go to polls in the 7th phase on June 1. The counting of votes will take place on June 4.
